A Program for Directors of Venture-Backed Private Companies

The VC-Backed Board Academy (VCBA) is a new one-day executive education program designed for venture-backed private company directors.

The program focuses on the unique corporate governance challenges faced by startup boards, including some of the following topics:

  2. Financing Dynamics: The Evolving VC Funding Landscape.
  3. Exits and Liquidity Trends in VC-Backed Companies.
  4. Startup Compensation Matters.
  5. Corporate Venture Capital and Cross-Over Investors in the Boardroom.
  6. Difficult Conversations and Going Out of Business.
  7. Board Composition and Structure.

When: Friday March 8, 2024 @ Cooley SF offices (3 Embarcadero Center, 20th Floor).

Please note: This program is limited to board members of venture-backed companies including investors, founders, senior management, and independent directors. Admission to the program is open to qualified participants as determined by the program directors.
