Ricardo Parada is a 2L at UC Law San Francisco. Ricardo graduated from Occidental College with a bachelor’s degree in Politics and a minor in Latino/Latin American Studies. Prior to law school, Ricardo worked at Morrison & Foerster LLP in San Francisco as a legal secretary in the Emerging Companies + Venture Capital (ECVC) practice group. At Morrison & Foerster, Ricardo gained a passion for and interest in working with startups at all stages of their lifecycle, from incorporation through late-stage financing in multiple industries. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ricardo worked at Covington & Burling LLP in Los Angeles as a legal secretary in the FDA regulatory practice group.
Ricardo is excited to continue his work with emerging companies by taking advantage of UC Law San Francisco’s strategic location in the startup capital of the world, where he can further develop his legal training while connecting with mentors in the legal profession. Ricardo will utilize his legal training to be a fierce advocate for his clients. Outside of law school, you can find Ricardo digging through crates of vinyl and walking his dog around Lake Merritt in Oakland.
